Bruce Toussaint arrives on TF1: this illness which handicaps him on the air!

After three years of leading the Live All Saints’ Day from nine o’clock to noon, Bruce Toussaint

flies towards new horizons. Indeed, West France announced that Michael Drucker’s friend

left BFM TV to join TF1. From the beginning of 2024, the host will be in charge of a morning news show.

TF1 provided more details on this new project. In the program ? Bruce Toussaint

will discuss information, the art of living, culture, daily life and even major trends. “I am delighted with the arrival of Bruce Toussaint at TF1, a very great journalist who will be able to give the necessary impetus to this new event. The creation of this new program is a further illustration of the ambition of the TF1 group in Information and its desire to strengthen the close link with the public“, commented Thierry Thuillier, Deputy Director General of Information for the TF1 group.

A disabling illness for his profession?

Bruce Toussaint has a very good CV to his credit since he worked for Canal+, Cnews and France, France 5 before being on the air of BFM TV. Unlike his colleagues, the one who attacked a deputy

doesn’t really practice the profession of animator like everyone else. Always color blind, he is unable to differentiate colors.

As a result, Bruce Toussaint uses a whole technique to avoid making any missteps. “I learned not to wear a red jacket on air. I always favor the same thing: dark suits, blue or black, and a white shirt”he explained to 7 Days TV in October 2022. Before adding: “The problem, rather, for someone like me who has trouble distinguishing colors, is the cards projected on the screen. If it’s gray or pink, I don’t know the difference. I can be very embarrassed and I have to be careful not to misinterpret what I see.”. However, this does not prevent him from managing his business brilliantly.
