Eurozapping: British doctors demand a pay rise

British doctors will soon be on strike. Dissatisfied, the young practitioners are demanding a 35% increase in their remuneration to compensate, according to them, for the salary increases of the last 15 years. Each time, these increases were lower than inflation. A day of strike will be organized on June 27, one week before the general elections.
In Italy, a reform of the justice system arouses the wrath of magistrates and the opposition. The Council of Ministers gave its approval to a text promised by Giorgia Meloni, the head of government. The latter provides for the suppression of telephone tapping and the abolition of the offense of abuse of power. Opponents fear a weakening of the fight against corruption.
