Former Prime Minister of Canada Brian Mulroney donated $1 million to the Faculty of Law at Laval University, his alma mater.

This sum will make it possible to create two scholarship programs in memory of Ms.e Bernard A. Roy and Me Jean Bazin, two of Mr. Mulroney’s closest friends and advisers, Laval University said in a statement Thursday.
These scholarships will be awarded each year to “deserving” students, which will promote “the development of a succession that can influence and contribute to global issues”, we can read.
