By making Stan disappear, Pistache caused the icy eruption of Volcano whose tears covered Coco Island with a heavy blanket of snow. Winter could last for thousands of years. Amande and Praline hope that Réglisse the new Bonbon Super will manage to get his hands on the prince of the underworld… He is the only one who can stop Volcano’s grief and put Pistache back on the right track. The latter, still stuck in the infernal basements of the archipelago, gradually sinks into wickedness and madness. Fortunately, it’s not all tears and madness on Coco Island. Cassius is delighted to be able to enjoy his heart again and has just met Rose, the charming village florist.
Super Candy (Volume 2) by Saïd Sassine
“It’s a universe that I wanted to be very sweet“explains Saïd Sassine who has mixed several themes close to his heart in Bonbon Super: inspirations from manga like Sailor Moon or Magical Girl, adding a little touch of vampires. This mixture therefore gives great Bonbons Super ready to land on the planet to save those who lose their feelings!
Saïd Sassine arrived in France, from Lebanon, in the 80s, at the same time as the manga “I was fed in the 80s by the animated ones that we could see at the time: Grendizer, Captain Flame…“.
Bonbon Super: it is to be read with the family. The children meet there, the parents also with different references.
