Bills: Micah Hyde out of season

Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde’s season is over due to a herniated disc.

This is what his agent, Jack Bechta, revealed on Saturday through his Twitter account. The 31-year-old veteran suffered a neck injury Monday in a 41-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.

It will certainly be a heavy loss for the Bills. Hyde has indeed had an excellent 2021 season with five interceptions, including one brought back for the touchdown, a quarterback sack and 74 tackles. In two games this year, he hit seven opponents.

The Bills will therefore have to face the Miami Dolphins without several regular defensive players since cornerback Dane Jackson and tackle Ed Oliver will also be unavailable.

The Bills, who have finished first in the AFC Esr Division the past two seasons, have won both of their meetings so far in 2022.

Also Taylor Lewan

The Titans also lost an important piece as left tackle Taylor Lewan suffered a knee injury on the team’s first offensive possession.

The team did not disclose the extent of the damage, but the NFL Network reported that he is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign.

Lewan is a three-time Pro Bowl guest, entering his ninth career season.
