This Tuesday, May 16, 2023, stars from around the world gathered on the Croisette for the launch of the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. While Virginie Efira was to lead the dance during the opening ceremony, it was ultimately the actress Chiara Mastroianni who was appointed mistress of ceremonies. It is therefore no surprise that her mother, Catherine Deneuve, was also invited, the same evening, to speak alongside her daughter on the stage of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
