In Paris, in Île-de-France, some hoteliers are exploding their prices. They hope to take advantage of the Champions League final, which will oppose Liverpool to Real Madrid, Saturday May 28, at the Stade de France.

Tourists are back, in numbers. “We booked two months in advance”says a tourist. “It was full, but we were lucky”said another. The current Roland-Garros tournament and the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid with tens of thousands of spectators expected are driving up prices in some hotels. In one of these establishments, the 49 rooms are all reserved and the prices are up by 10%.
A total of 91% booking rate in Paris in hotels for the long Ascension weekend, which begins Thursday May 26, which represents barely half of the usual activity last summer. “There, we expect levels that will be practically comparable to before Covid, including this summer”believes Adrian Lanottehead of studies MKG Group.
