With Bernard Hinault, surely the best-known Breton rider, who marked the history of cycling: World Road Champion in 1980, French Road Champion in 1978, French Pursuit Champion in 1975 and 1976, winners of 10 great tours (5 Tours of France 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982 and 1985, 3 Tours of Italy 1980, 1982 and 1985 and 2 Tours of Spain in 1978 and 1983) and many other races such as Liège-Bastogne-Liège , the Tour of Lombardy, Paris-Roubaix or even the Flèche Wallonne or the Dauphiné Liberated.
After his cycling career in 1986, he became a breeder in Calorguen near Dinan in the Côtes d’Armor and has been retired since 2016 with his wife Martine. He wanted to have time to devote himself to his family, to his grandchildren.
