The years 2000 and 2010 were marked by the unchallenged reign of two footballing legends, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The Portuguese and the Argentinian have taken everything, leaving only the crumbs to their opponents and it could well be that we will witness a bit of the same thing in the coming years with two other phenomena: Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland. If the Frenchman is already ahead with a World Cup under his belt, the 22-year-old Norwegian could catch up with him faster than expected. This summer, the tall blond’s life changed when he was transferred from Dortmund, Germany, to Manchester City, Pep Guardiola’s club.
Since his arrival in the English championship, the Norwegian giant has panicked the counters and in just a few games, he has already made everyone agree. With 20 goals scored in just 13 games since the start of the season, he smashes all records and many wonder how Erling Haaland achieves such high performance and the answer may well be on his plate! The documentary Haaland: The Big Decision which will soon be released traces the transfer of the player and tells us more about his very particular diet…
People say meat is bad for your health, but which one?
According to information from Sun, who was able to obtain extracts from the documentary, Erling Haaland would be very focused on meat and in particular on the less appetizing parts of beef. As he eats two large pieces of beef, the interviewer wonders about the cuts chosen by the player: “But… is it a heart?”he asks him, before the attacker answers with a smile: “Yes, it is the heart.”
Concerned about his health, Erlign Haaland is careful about what he eats, as he explains in the documentary. “People say meat is unhealthy, but which one? The meat you find at McDonald’s? Or the local cow eating grass right there? I eat the heart and the liver”he explains.
A diet consisting mainly of meats and which seems to be working for Erling Haaland, who is having an incredible start to the season with his new club.
