Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Dayot Upamecano, Omar Richards, Leroy Sane and Tanguy Nianzou also took part in the training session.

Davies, Upamecano, Sane and Nianzou trained separately after warming up with the squad, which will play their next game on Saturday in Cologne.

The club said on Jan. 5 that the Edmonton center-back tested positive, but was doing well and had isolated himself at his residence. Bayern returned to training on January 3, after a 17-day hiatus.

Canada is watching Davies’ health: the national team are scheduled to play World Cup qualifiers in Honduras on Jan.27, Hamilton vs. the United States on Jan.30, and Salvador on February 2.
