Instrumental music is booming in popularity. Cinema and television are carving out a place for it, and the pandemic has brought “music to the image” back into fashion, enough to speak of a second wind for modern classical music.
In Quebec, too, this revival of instrumental music experienced a meteoric rise thanks to several artists, including Alexandra Stréliski, Jean-Michel Blais, Simon Leoza and Mathieu David Gagnon. Our guests have followed the creative process of these artists for six months and are publishing a documentary on the subject.
