Released in theaters on February 1, this latest opus continues to be talked about! Directed by Guillaume Canet, this film transports us to China. Following a coup organized by Prince Deng Tsin Quin (Bun Hay Mean), the Empress of China (Linh-Dan Pham) is imprisoned. To free her mother, Princess Fu Yi (Julie Chen) asks for help from our two brave Gauls, Asterix (Guillaume Canet) and Obelix (Gilles Lellouche). Agreeing to come to the aid of the princess to save her mother and liberate the country, Asterix and Obelix go to China to experience new adventures. But that was without counting on Caesar (Vincent Cassel) and his powerful army, who also took the road to the Middle Empire to conquer new lands.
We also find in the cast other renowned actors, such as Jonathan Cohen (Graindemaïs), Marion Cotillard (Cléopâtre), José Garcia (Biopix), Pierre Richard (Panoramix) or even Ramzy Bedia (Epidemaïs).

Asterix (Christian Clavier) and Obelix (Gérard Depardieu), accompanied by the druid Panoramix (Claude Rich), go to Egypt to help the architect Numérobis (Jamel Debbouze) build a palace for Cleopatra (Monica Bellucci). Indeed, the Queen of Egypt challenged the Roman Emperor Julius Caesar (Alain Chabat) to build a magnificent palace in the middle of the desert in just three months. If she succeeds, then Julius Caesar will have to publicly acknowledge the superiority of the Egyptians over the Romans. But for his part, Amonbofis (Gérard Darmon), Cleopatra’s official architect, is jealous of Numérobis. He will then do everything possible to defeat his competitor.

This time, our two favorite Gauls are going to Greece to participate in the Olympic Games! During an Olympiad, Asterix (Clovis Cornillac) and Obélix (Gérard Depardieu) will face the Machiavellian Brutus (Benoît Poelvoorde), son of César (Alain Delon). The goal ? Allow young Alafolix (Stéphane Rousseau) to marry Princess Irina (Vanessa Hessler).

Only one village resists this occupation, thanks to the magic potion prepared by the Druid Panoramix (Claude Piéplu). This potion has the power to make you invincible. Drinking this potion, Asterix (Christian Clavier) and Obelix (Gérard Depardieu) will then beat their opponents to the hilt! Which will make Caesar mad with rage, who was preparing to invade England, and which will delight Abraracourcix (Michel Galabru), chief of the Gallic village.

Julius Caesar (Fabrice Luchini) prepares to invade Brittania, this island located at the edge of the known world. Faced with these attacks, the queen of the Bretons, Cordelia (Catherine Deneuve), sends her most faithful officer, Jolitorax (Guillaume Gallienne), to seek help in Gaul from the village of Asterix, who resists the Romans thanks to the potion magical. But the problem is that Asterix (Edouard Baer) and Obélix (Gérard Depardieu) are already busy: they have to take care of Goudurix (Vincent Lacoste), a young man whose education needs to be perfected. Thus, all leave in the direction of Brittany to bring a barrel of magic potion. But unfortunately, things don’t go as planned at all…
