(Vancouver) A & W Food Services of Canada has signed a long-term development agreement with sandwich chain Pret A Manger.
The agreement follows a two-year trial period.
A & W Food Services of Canada holds the exclusive master franchisor rights in Canada for the Pret A Manger brand.
During the trial period, Pret A Manger products were offered in select A&W restaurants and a standalone store of the chain was opened in downtown Toronto earlier this year.
A&W says it will introduce a variety of Pret A Manger products, starting with a national rollout of the chain’s coffee at A&W restaurants this fall.
The development plan calls for an increase in the number of physical locations offering Pret A Manger products across Canada over an initial development period of ten years.
