The procession of the demonstration against the health pass took a detour this Saturday afternoon to stop in front of the permanence of the deputy LREM Romain Grau, in Perpignan.
Demonstrators then began banging on the windows and sticking up posters. Inside, the deputy and an adviser to Éric Dupont-Moretti, Guillem Gervilla, are working. The two men decide to go out, and that’s whenthey are challenged by some demonstrators.
“I received a punch on the chin” – Romain Grau, LREM deputy for Pyrénées-Orientales
“We were taken to task very violently. They clearly wanted to crack us down with fairly heavy insults”, confided the MP. A neighbor would then have tried to intervene before being slapped, again according to Romain Grau. The MP also says he has “received a punch on the chin”.
The two men finally managed to take refuge on the floor of the permanence, while the procession ended up dispersing.
MP LREM Romain Grau subsequently announced that he wanted to file a complaint Sunday.
