Before and after the meticulous work of Stephanie

It was in January 2020 that she started and created her conservation and restoration workshop. “I work on the trust granted to me by the owners of the works. Faced with a painting, you have to know how to be timorous not to go too far”, she explains. Stéphanie is constantly training and looking for the least aggressive restoration techniques possible.

Specialized in the restoration of paintings on canvas, she also intervenes on works painted on various supports: paintings on wood, murals… and can move around according to the needs of the works. Paintings having a “signature” or family paintings having just a great sentimental value, Stéphanie does not make the distinction. She also works for museums on private collections and trains to obtain the approval authorizing her to look into public collections.
