Edith Cochrane will take the helm of a new variety show called crazy times, next winter, on Télé-Québec.
The ex-madwoman of the king of TV kids will receive three guests on its set each week. She will invite them to “share their knowledge and exchange their memories”, hoping that they will “revisit[nt] their perceptions of the world of yesterday, today and tomorrow, ”we explained in a press release on Tuesday. The meeting will offer “a meeting of eras, a playful and comic look at the time that flees and at the one that marks”.
“It is with great joy and a lot of excitement that I plunge into the adventure of mad times! I am proud to participate in the birth of a new show TV that will allow me to rediscover the pleasure of receiving (and teasing!) people I love!” said Edith Cochrane, who also just starred in the series Breathe in breathe outfor Crave, in which she plays a yoga teacher.
The host will be entitled to an all-female house orchestra, the Quatuor esca, which is made up of Julie Dessureault, Edith Fitzgerald, Amélie Lamontagne and Sarah Martineau. Jean-François Blais will direct crazy times and Clémence Aboussouan will produce everything for Attraction, in collaboration with Télé-Québec.
