Trouble at school

Mazarine Pingeot indeed remembers: “I know no one believed me, of course! She adds : “It was not a lie since he had once practiced this profession…”
Now aged 48, this last name she never wanted to bear, the writer has finally decided to take it. She is changing her surname, as she indicated to our colleagues. And to explain: “I asked myself this question for a long time before taking the necessary steps, which were quite complex, I must say.. The reason ? “I thought it was quite natural since I was his daughter” she said. But also because “It’s also a way of paying tribute to him, of creating new links between my paternal family and my children.”
The Mitterrand family
Mazarine Pingeot-Mitterrand has three: Astor, Tara, and Marie, (fruits of her union with Mohamed Ulad-Mohand). His half-brother Gilbert Mitterrand has three children Pascale, Justine and Guillaume, and his older half-brother, Jean-Christophe Mitterrand has a son, Adrien.
