Aston-Martin | The DBS coupé closes its current generation with a vibrant work

Despite the greater popularity of its DBX SUV, Aston Martin’s trajectory has always been defined by its coupes. The latest in the illustrious line of DB flagship coupés, the DB11, is in its final stages in its sportiest DBS form. To highlight this milestone in the brand’s history, a very special livery has been created.

This Aston Martin is the most powerful production model ever assembled by the English manufacturer.

So here is the DBS 770 Ultimate, a very special creation that claims to be the most powerful production model ever assembled by the English manufacturer. The number 770 presents its metric horsepower, or 760 hp on this side of the Atlantic. This cavalry is still produced by a homemade and biturbo 5.2 L V12, whose turbocharger pressure has been increased. An eight-speed ZF automatic transmission is still part of the group.

Moreover, note the presence of elegant honeycomb rims and various functional changes made to the sublime dress of this DBS, including gills cut into the front fenders and the redesigned rear diffuser. The whole wraps a stiffer front axle and reworked damping for performance.

Only 499 examples – 300 coupés and 199 convertibles – will be produced, but the order book is already full for what is likely to be one of Aston Martin’s last V12 models.
