The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) warns that an armed and dangerous suspect is in Saint-Elzéar-de-Bonaventure, in Gaspésie.

“Avoid the area,” recommends an emergency alert from Public Safety. “In the targeted area: shelter indoors, lock doors, stay away from windows, follow the directives of local authorities. »
“Armed suspect at the corner of chemin Central / Rte de l’Est”, tweeted the SQ around 3:30 p.m. before publishing a description and a photo of the suspect.
The latter is 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in) tall and weighs 82 kg (180 lb). He has brown hair, green eyes, and wears jeans, a black top with a Jack Daniels logo, and motorcycle boots.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
