(Los Angeles) The spy comedy, Argyle remained at the top of the North American box office for its second weekend of operation, according to estimates on Sunday from the specialist firm Exhibitor Relations.
But Matthew Vaughn’s film recorded a sharp drop in revenue, with 6.5 million dollars compared to 18 million the previous weekend, while North American cinemas were deserted on Sunday due to the Super Bowl, the high mass annual American football event.

In fourth place are the first three episodes of season 4 of the hit series about the life of Jesus Christ, The Chosen. These episodes, which the producers of the series chose to release in theaters, grossed $3.2 million.
Fifth place goes to the eccentric chocolatier, Wonka (Warner Bros), played by Timothée Chalamet, with 3.1 million dollars for its ninth week of operation.
According to analytics company Comscore, movie ticket sales for the weekend are near an all-time low for a Super Bowl weekend, at just $42 million.
