After less than a week of collective training with Stade Toulouse, he only took four minutes to score a first try, coming off the bench. Antoine Dupont continues not to waste time. For his first club match since June 28, and the Top 14 final during which he scored two tries, the Toulouse player once again shone brightly to score a hat-trick and thus participate very actively in the great success of his team on Clermont (48-14), Saturday October 12, during the 6th day of the Top 14.

With his unusual number 21 behind his back, Antoine Dupont came on in the 45th minute, while Toulouse was already leading (20-0). Four minutes later, following several strikes from his forwards, he was there to pick up the ball and score his first try of the evening in force (49th). Six minutes later, the “minister of the interior” was, obviously, inside to receive a ball from Ange Capuozzo and thus score his double (55th). And three minutes later, he was the freshest, the fastest, to score his third personal try on a follow-up kick from the Italian winger (58th).

Three tests in 13 minutes, the findings are clear, the result brutal. After two defeats in a row, Toulouse returns to victory. And Antoine Dupont is back in business, as if he had never left. “After training, the reflexes come back straight away, agreed at the end of the meeting at the microphone of Canal +. Even though I wasn’t here for several months, it feels like I left yesterday.” The public and the people of Clermont realized this.
