Anticipated legislative elections: young politicians respond to the chat

Published

A few days before the first round of the early legislative elections, ask your questions to the young political leaders of the different parties (RN, LR, ECOLO, PS and LFI).

Between turbulent alliances on the side of the main left-wing forces, the implosion of Reconquête and the rupture among Les Républicains: last week was full of twists and turns. A week after the dissolution announced by the President of the Republic, the electoral campaign for the early legislative elections is launched.

Come ask your questions and discuss with the guests of the Franceinfo Talk! Ludo Pauchant receives Louis L’Haridon, of the Young Socialists; Octave Plessis Robinson of Young Ecologists; Louison Bastien, Northern Youth referent with Macron; Pierre Romain Thionnet of the National Youth Rally as well as Zoé Pébay of Jeunes Insoumis

The days following the dissolution were marked by the political negotiations and the recompositions that accompanied them. Since the beginning of the week, the distribution of constituencies has become a little clearer and the urgency is now to draft the professions of faith which will detail the programs.

Salaries, pensions, energy prices: economic questions are at the heart of the programs of the National Rally, the New Popular Front and Renaissance. The different political blocs are positioning themselves around the latest reforms carried out by the government (repeal of the pension reform for the New Popular Front, suppression of the unemployment insurance reform in the event of a victory for the National Rally).

Geopolitics will certainly play a determining role in this campaign. The international issues which have occupied the media space in recent months (War in Ukraine, situation in Gaza) have crystallized collisions sometimes also within the alliances themselves.

Finally, ecology, rather put aside during the European campaign, could perhaps remobilize the different political forces.
