In French Polynesia, where the vote was brought forward to take into account the time difference, this rate was 23.78% at 5 p.m. local time (5 a.m. in Paris), compared to 43.97% at the same time in the first round in 2017. In New Caledonia, participation peaked at noon (3 a.m. in Paris) at 17.59%, compared to 19.86% five years ago.
