Despite her departure announced in a press conference where she did not answer any questions, the Green candidate for the 2021 elections effectively remained in her leadership position, so her party began a review of her leadership in order to to show him the door.
The result was to be known at the end of November. Annamie Paul needed 60% support to stay. Instead, she decided to quit not only her post, but her party as well.
“I will also end my membership in SSC. It was an honor to work for the people of Canada and I look forward to serving in a new way, ”continues Annamie Paul’s message.
