(Montreal) Montreal police opened an investigation into a young man targeted by gunfire in the Anjou sector on Wednesday evening. The 24-year-old victim was not injured and moved to Laval shortly after the incident.
This type firearm attack drive by shooting occurred Wednesday around 11:45 p.m. The 24-year-old man was driving on Baldwin Street, near Metropolitan Boulevard, when several shots were fired at his car.
According to our information, the event was linked to vehicle theft.
The suspects were then in a vehicle. Projectile impacts were located on the victim’s car, which was not injured.
The young man targeted then moved to Laval, hitting several cars parked on Baldwin Street during his escape. No crime scene has been located by police at this time as the investigation continues.
