The Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation into intentional homicide, after the discovery on Saturday January 13 of the body of a woman in a hotel room in the 17th arrondissement of the capital, reports France Bleu Paris on Sunday January 14, confirming information from the Parisian.
The prosecution specifies that the victim is a 43-year-old Brazilian woman, found dead lying on her bed by an employee of the hotel, near Porte de Clichy, in the northwest of the capital. The body was discovered on Saturday January 13 around noon, said the Paris prosecutor’s office.
The victim had a “deep wound” to the neck, and the floor notes a large quantity of blood. The investigation, entrusted to the 1st judicial police district, “will aim to determine the circumstances of this death”added the prosecution.
