A phenomenon that one might have thought had become rarer. Stored near a private residence, or abandoned in the very centre of Val-de-Reuil (Eure), more and more trolleys are not being put back in their place. This has led to the implementation by a brand of a system that is as radical, and sometimes controversial, as it is effective.
Since July, the shelters in the car parks of the city’s supermarkets have been empty of trolleys. From now on, trolleys must be collected from the store reception, in exchange for an ID.
