an ex-journalist of “TF1” and colleague of Jean-Pierre Pernaut in mourning, her tribute to her deceased husband

Nothing can make a loved one forget. We can only live with the mourning and it is impossible to ignore it. It is probably not Nathalie Marquay, and the rest of her family, who will say the opposite. The ex-Miss France who lost her half on March 2 as a result of lung cancer has since been plunged into deep sadness like all the French people who loved, almost in the majority, Jean-Pierre Pernaut that accompanied their lunches for many years.

Since then, Lou and Tom’s mother hardly goes a week without paying tribute to her half who left too soon, or finding signs of her in the various places she goes to. But another person shares the pain of Nathalie Marquay. A person who was able to rub shoulders with Jean-Pierre Pernaut for many years and who even worked alongside him: Dominique Lagrou-Sempère. The journalist could even have replaced her friend, but the fact that she was not “not well enough known, not identified enough”, as our colleagues from Releaseallowed Marie-Sophie Lacarrau to “snatch” her place.

A man she can’t forget

But could she have taken on this role given that, like the ex-beauty queen, she had just experienced, only a few years earlier, a tragedy that still marks her today? Indeed, her companion Claude Sempère lost his life at only 55 years of age following lung cancer like Jean-Pierre Pernaut, in 2019. This is why, this Tuesday, September 20, she wanted to pay him a vibrant tribute.

Dominique Lagrou-Sempère took to his Instagram account to note that the ex-journalist ofCorrespondent would have “58 years old today. You still have that same look”, in the caption of a snapshot in which he appears with a black jacket, a white shirt and a small glass in his hand.
