She has just returned from Los Angeles, where on March 10, 2024 she received the Oscar for best screenplay for “Anatomy of a fall”, that Justine Triet is demolished in a famous French show. This March 13, 2024, on the RTL set, Sébastien Thoen dared to say that he had not appreciated the film. Opposite, Laurent Ruquier did not really correct the member of Les Grosses têtes, and simply quipped: “It wasn’t so… honestly, I saw it on the plane, in fact it’s something you shouldn’t watch on the plane, as soon as you see the title”. Not sure that Justine Triet will appreciate that Hugo Manos’ companion watched his masterpiece in such conditions…
And this is not the only tackle that our national Justine Triet received this March 13 in the daily show. To a columnist who admitted to having been caught up in this story which was not going to please her, Sébastien Thoen said: “Les Tuches it grabbed me, but it wasn’t at the Césars either, eh!”
No one is a prophet in his own country ?
Fortunately, Justine Triet’s film has won enough awards around the world to open many doors for her abroad. In particular, it is said that Steven Spielberg made him a proposition. And she has already told Variety about her fifth feature film : “The subject has not yet been decided”, but he “could have an Anglo-Saxon actress in the main role”, which will be filmed in French.
