Barbara Ospomer’s name is far from foreign to you. The 31-year-old has appeared in several reality TV shows including the eighth season of theTemptation Island, the last season of Secret Story broadcast on television but also Angels 10 in Los Angeles. Singer and actress, she had given the answer to Kaaris or Jean Reno in the film, produced by Netflix and directed by Olivier Marchal, Bronx. The year 2021 was special for her, since she gave birth, on May 4, to her little child. After breaking up with her son’s father during pregnancy, the couple finally reunited in August.
But this week, she expressed concern about red patches that appeared on the face of her son named Gabriel. On Instagram, she was quick to share in story some pictures asking the opinion of its subscribers on the causes of this abnormal redness.
“Maybe it’s eczema that happens during her teething except I can’t see any teeth growing yet. I didn’t change her diet, I changed her sheets yesterday, maybe that’s it … I don’t know, maybe eczema that grows like this …“, she had said.”And then my pediatrician, I wouldn’t call her urgently to ask her because she’s not very competent, let’s say. Besides, that’s the thing I have to do: find a new pediatrician!“.
Ex-reality TV contestant with cancer
In his show Baby story, on Youtube, Jeremstar offered a special Christmas episode with Barbara Ospomer.
The opportunity for her to reveal bad news: she has level 3 uterine cancer.
“I did a smear ten years ago. I went to see a specialist who told me that I had to be careful, “she said, revealing to be a carrier of the papillomavirus (the virus responsible for cancer of the uterus). “She told me: ‘come back and see me next year, we really need to watch this’. And I let it hang out for ten years”, she confided, before adding: “It just popped out of my head. I think I made a denial. It’s really important, that’s why I’m talking about it today.”
She took the opportunity to do prevention by indicating that it was important to go for a smear with a health professional, “at least every year”.
“I’m lucky, because it would have been hard to have my uterus removed. Especially at my age, you never know, if I want to have a second child. Right now, I don’t. But for a woman, it’s really hard to have the uterus removed. What upsets me is the operating room “, she said.
