Emmanuel Macron is no longer unanimous within the presidential camp. If the legislative elections are not completely over, the pillars of the presidential majority seem to be distancing themselves.

Is this the end of Macronie? Several clues suggest this as the legislative elections approach. First of all, the absence of the President’s face on the leaflets of several Renaissance candidates. His portrait is erased or sometimes simply replaced by that of Gabriel Attal. This separation is symbolized by the recent declaration of former Prime Minister Edouard Philippe: “He is the president of the Republic who killed the presidential majority.”

Edouard Philippe’s opinion is shared by former president François Hollande and now candidate of the New Popular Front. “If it ever existed, it’s over” he declared about Macronism. Comments shared by Marine Tondelier : “The presidential majority is on borrowed time, it no longer exists”. Finally, within the presidential majority, Gabriel Attal, who is very involved in this campaign, seems to have distanced himself somewhat from his president.
