A man was found injured following an armed attack in Ville-Marie West, Montreal, on Saturday evening.
The 911 call was made around 8 p.m. Saturday to report that an individual had been injured in the upper body, likely by a sharp weapon, according to the spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Julien Levesque.
The 25-year-old man was found conscious near the intersection of Sainte-Catherine Street West and Atwater Avenue. He was taken care of and transported conscious to a hospital center by the Urgences-santé services; his life is not in danger.
A security perimeter was erected to allow analysis of the scene. No arrests have been made at this time.
