A well-known comedian threw a party to celebrate his favorite chihuahua’s birthday. The total cost? $100,000.
“I was like ‘ok, I’ll do this once. I’ve never had a daughter, never had children, so I’m going 100% for this event,” Gabriel Iglesias told TODAY.com media.
The 46-year-old actor with multiple collaborations with Netflix opted for a quinceañera-type celebration, a traditional party of Latin origin to celebrate the 15th birthday of a young girl. Risa is between 16 and 17 years old, according to the words of the comedian.
Gabriel Iglesias welcomed over 300 people to celebrate the little 4-pound chihuahua. 12 other dogs were present at the party.
“People think I wasted my money, but I tell them, ‘No, I’m celebrating something that means everything to me,'” added the man nicknamed Fluffy. It was a very expensive, but memorable night.
Risa was even treated to three different custom-designed outfits for the event.
