Good day yesterday for Amelie Mauresmowho was able to celebrate her daughter’s 5th birthday as it should be, Ayla. After a busy career with two Grand Slam tournaments won and a first place in the world rankings, the 42-year-old Frenchwoman lives an equally captivating post-career. For several months now, the former coach of Andy Murray and Lucas Pouille has held the prestigious position of director of the Roland-Garros tournament. She succeeded Guy Forget and now her days must be particularly busy.
The former champion still finds the time to have a good time with her family and in particular her two children, Aaron (born in 2015) and Ayla (born in 2017). After a great vacation in Cameroon alongside her friend Yannick Noah a few weeks ago, Amélie Mauresmo was able to celebrate her daughter’s 5th birthday as it should be. For the occasion, she posted two photos on her Instagram account which allow us to do a little before/after over the past five years. In the first photo you can see Baby Ayla, probably just out of the maternity ward, cuddled by her big brother already very protective of his little sister.
5 years today since you came into our lives. Unconditional love…
On the second picture, we jump five years in time, but the positions remain the same! Ayla is in bed while Aaron is bent over her. Obviously, the relationship between the two is still as strong, to the delight of their mother. “5 years today that you came into our lives. Unconditional love…“, she adds in comment with the hashtag #ayla.
