AMBER Alert in Alberta | A two-year-old child was abducted

The City of Calgary Police Department has issued an AMBER Alert to locate two-year-old Hawkin Gerald Thomas.

The toddler was abducted around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Inglewood, a neighborhood in Calgary, Alberta, by his mother Tamara Jean Vadderjagt, 40. The event occurred after a supervised visit between mother and child.

Tamara Jean Vadderjagt was last seen on 9^and southwest ave near Blackfoot trail. The child may be in a brown Mitsubishi Outlander, a 2017 model year, with Alberta registration NLY 991.

The suspect is 1m63 (5’4”). She has short red hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and red pants.

The child has long blond hair. He was last seen wearing a red sweater, red boots, and dark pants with a camouflage pattern.
