Millennium Fair (12th century) located between Coutances and Villedieu-les-Poêles, the Saint-Luc fair in Gavray-sur-Sienne
annually welcomes nearly 100,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors who meet for a festive weekend on a 12-hectare moor not far from the castle of the Dukes of Normandy.

Friday, October 14:

On the program of the fair of Gavray-sur-Sienne, the usual appointments and novelties:
Friday October 14 : from 6.30 a.m. the famous horse fair (including the election of the best foal of the fair of Gavray 2022). Cobs Normands model and driving contest in the afternoon. And throughout the day the traditional fair accompanied by the Lucerne marching band.
Saturday October 15 : Presentation of the Cobs Normands team. Horse riding and workshops by the association Cava’l’drir
. Animation of country dance with the association Gavray dances
. Traditional fair.
Sunday October 16 : Horse riding and workshops by the Cava’l’drir association. Animation of country dance with the association Gavray danse. Traditional fair.
During the 3 days find the pumpkin fair and its competitions. The famous decorated pumpkin contest with more than a hundred participants each year. As for the biggest pumpkin contest, record to beat: 300kg (2021)!
Also find the demonstrations of Border Collies by theChannel Sheepdog Association.
And all this, of course, accompanied by the unpackers and exhibitors who offer their items, the many roasters and the sensational fairground, to the delight of visitors.
