Algeria: for Philippe Ballard, “we must not confuse appeasement and submission when we talk about the duty of memory”

Philip ballardMember of the National Rally (RN)is the guest of “4 Vérités” on France 2, Friday August 26th. He returns to the announcement by Emmanuel Macron, the day before, of the creation of a joint Franco-Algerian commission of historians on the subject of colonization and war. “Talking to each other is always very good. What there is is that with Emmanuel Macron, we are always in communication”believes Philip ballard. “He ndon’t have to to confuse appeasement and submission when we speak of the duty of memory”adds the MP RN.

Philip ballard then addresses the subject of Obligations to leave French territory (OQTF) : “Last year, in 2021, there were 7,700 OQTFs, and on arrival, 22 expulsions.“ The deputy RN also looks back on government aid on fuel and energy prices: “Perhaps when the tariff shield is over, the French, next spring, will really have a lot of trouble even just filling their shopping carts.“
