Besides Romain Dumas, 168 motorcycles, 21 quads, 95 cars, 49 light prototypes, 51 SSVs and 57 trucks and 144 classic are engaged for a 2022 edition which combines heat and sand, a lot of sand and of different kinds.

The two 1580 Kilo monsters were entirely designed and manufactured at the Alès-en-Cévennes mechanical center. A team of three people from RD Limited work almost year round on this project. 400 HP, two driving wheels, each of them weighing 37 kilos, (easy to change in the dunes). For this fifth participation, we worked on increasing traction (Romain Dumas is not a big fan of the dunes) and added air conditioning.
