Alain Chamfort announces bad news: “It is with great regret…”

A heavy blow, as the health crisis and restrictions ease more and more. Like all artists, the singer had to wait impatiently to find his full audience on the roads… We’ll have to wait a little longer!

His new album, Symphonic Dandy, was released in December, featuring his greatest hits in symphonic versions. With brand new orchestrations, more musicians but still the same beauty in the lyrics, the concert promised to be unforgettable… But we’ll have to be patient a little longer. Fortunately, Alain Chamfort’s tour has only just begun.

Indeed, the singer of Manureva or Short time is expected in Bressuire, Rennes, Vannes or even Mâcon in the coming months if he recovers properly from this virus. Very discreet about his state of health, he had, for example, not publicly mentioned the bone disease from which he had suffered a few years ago. Waiting to be fully recovered, he then explained that “some exploit their disease to increase their notoriety, and that makes me a little uneasy. That’s not what I want. Healing was quick for me and today I’m doing great!

In any case, we wish the singer to recover quickly. He will be able to rely on his large family for this: father of three children with his first wife (Clémentine, 44, Gary and Lucas, 41), he then welcomed a daughter, Tess, in 1997 with a model he met a few years earlier. Finally, with his current wife, Nathalie, he has a 12-year-old son, Lucien. He is also a grandfather several times.
