On the bill: Jason Mist / Gatica / Les P’tits Fils de Jeanine…
Jason Mist is a complete artist, who has the particularity of playing slide guitar. If he does not want to restrict himself to a single musical genre for fear of locking himself in, the sound he offers is resolutely folk, blues, sometimes tinged with reggae.
Gatica is an invitation to travel, offered to us by the woman who, like her native land, Chile, is able in a single song to go from the fire of the volcanoes to the ice of the summits. Gatica launches a call to love, with its two musicians in a sound territory made of voices, strings, skins where humor and melancholy are engraved at the same time.
Through their realistic, funny and committed texts, Les P’tits Fils de Jeanine sings about their daily life, their hopes and their doubts. The voices mingle and respond to each other, improvisation and theater are always present; to the intensity of the accordion is added the frenzy of the trumpet, the harmonies of the guitar on the frenzied rhythm of the drums. Multi-instrumentalists facetious, mocking, a little cheeky and slightly undisciplined, the P’tits Fils de Jeanine have only one claim: to play their concert with you!
