After the remarks of the head of theEtat Emmanuel Macron on saucepans, a Franche-Comté company replied to him on Thursday April 20 via his Twitter account which he made “pans that move France forward”, reports France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard. This is the Cristel company, based in Fesches-le-Châtel (Doubs), which manufactures French cookware.
On Wednesday, during his visit to Alsace, the President of the Republic declared that the pans, brandished by anti-pension reform activists, did not “advance France”. The kitchen utensil manufacturer therefore responded to him via his Twitter account.
Since Monday, pension reform opponents have been using pans as a protest tool to make themselves heard and mask the president’s words. A way to make noise to, initially, “cover” the presidential address which took place last Monday at 8 p.m. From now on, a concert of saucepans accompanies each trip by Emmanuel Macron, as in Alsace on Wednesday and in Hérault on Thursday.
