The controversial Bill 31 on housing will ultimately not be adopted this year. Due to lack of time to complete the work, Minister France-Élaine Duranceau will have to wait at least until the end of January to see her reform adopted.
Several steps remained to be taken before the bill could be adopted. MEPs had not yet completed the article-by-article study of the document and two other steps had to be completed before adoption.
The parliamentary session is scheduled to resume on January 30, 2024.
More details will follow.
