Adama Niane will end the Ligue 2 season with USL Dunkirk. The 28-year-old Malian is leaving FC Sochaux-Montbéliard on Wednesday to join the northern club, currently 19th in Ligue 2, on loan.
Arrived in September 2020, Niane was no longer in the plans from Omar Daf this season. The striker has only played six games, including three in the Coupe de France (and a double against the fans of Montchat-Lyon). In his first season, he had participated in 30 Ligue 2 matches, for four goals.
This loan looks like a definitive departure, Adama Niane being at the end of the contract in June 2022.
He could cross paths with the Yellow and Blue again very soon, since Sochaux will travel to Dunkirk on January 22.
