Bernadette Chirac in theaters, Black Widow in headphones: Catherine Deneuve will lend her voice to a Marvel superhero (a black widow) for a podcast next month, announced Wednesday October 4 Audible, the audio production subsidiary of the American group Amazon .
The actress thus participates in the third part of the audio series Marvel’s Wastelanders, which will be available on November 8 to Audible subscribers. Giving the answer to Stéfi Celma (Ten percent)she plays Helen Black, aka Black Widow, in New York, “nearly thirty years after Victory Day of the Villains (also known as V-Day)”who took control of Earth.
The two previous parts of this series taken from the universe of Marvel comics were played by Antoine de Caunes and José Garcia in June, then Olivier Marchal and Assa Sylla in September. Three others are on the program for this production, initially released in English in June 2021 (with Susan Sarandon in the role of Black Widow) and since published simultaneously in French, German, Hindi, Italian and Japanese.
