Double occupation is not Double occupation without a) the invention of new words under the influence of Shaker Mixology, b) beautiful little setups crazy with Polysleep beds and c) big shiny faces that pearl in 4K in our living rooms.

The first week ofOD Martinique delivered all this to us in a beautiful Cook It box, surely not luxurious enough for the extremely wealthy Mégane, the first single woman to be ousted from houses furnished in Must Société.

Allergic to “cheap things” and attached to her Louis Vuitton bags like a long jewel in the ear of Jay Du Temple, Mégane, 27, will not have had time to kiss her beautiful tanned Italian. Either way, it’s visibility at OD which hooked up Mégane. Visibility and money, I think she repeated 83 times that her saddles – we’ll never get tired of this gag – sold for $6,500.

But what was the blonde Mégane, the passionaria for overpriced equestrian leather, doing on a romantic reality show that only serves grocery store wines at $9 a bottle? This Mégane, which announced itself as a pivotal character of this tropical edition, was as big a flop as the bèlè fitness class of the four members of the board of directors ofOD.

Felix, candidate ofOD Martinique

On the etymological side, Félix, the 24-year-old chemical operator, was the first to register in the dictionary of neologisms ofOD 2022. In the middle of a happy hour, our feline Félix, who could have played in Avatardisturbed Jonathan “abrustically” in his date with the voluble Clémence, 26 years old.

Poor Clemence. Contestants called her “blue dress” for a week because they couldn’t remember her name. “I had a long fucking time alone with a blue dress, and big, it connected like I rarely connect with a girl, like, it was solid,” philosophized Michael, the photographer from Saint-Eustache.

This same Michael, 22, thinks that at 29, Dominique is old. But he doesn’t mind, because he’s slept with moms before. Cool, cool, cool.

Still on the linguistic chapter, Isaack, the Zoolander of Beloeil, said to himself fucking happy to finally see “feminine people” in the house, an expression that the production ofOD a translated by “women’s agency” at the bottom of the screen. Big debate in the cottages: the feminine agency or the feminine people? Like an Isaack out of balance on his skiff, I would lean more towards people.

This same Isaack has been classified among the male handlebars because he never goes out without his pampering products. Isaack would also be an artichoke that needs to be peeled to the core. OK.

However, it was the beautiful Florence, 23, who sent Isaack the most beautiful flower, confiding that “it’s fun to see a guy who thinks”.

Honestly guys give a lot of thought to OD this year, but that’s due to a shortage of mattifying powder in villas with little air conditioning. Obviously, Isaack doesn’t carry any anti-shine serum in his well-filled kit.

Among the poetic moments of the last few days, the aspiring journalist Florence made a nice haiku in Franglais: “It turns me off, the guys who are show off. Tiler cowboy Jimy, 29, got “emotional” when talking about his son. And Félix was happy to be part of the 1% of the Quebec population becauseOD chose him.

We saw it in his interactions with firefighter Jonathan, Félix has a very short fuse. And when a guy who works in chemicals explodes, it’s not very pretty.

The return ofA boy a girl

Truly, this super-secret project will delight a ton of fans, that’s for sure. Almost 20 years after its release from the airwaves, the cult comedy A boy a girl will soon return to Radio-Canada with new episodes where the two protagonists will, of course, have aged 20 years.

Sylvie Leonard and Guy A. Lepage

In the greatest discretion, the filming of the sequel toA boy a girl would have resumed in Montreal with Guy (Guy A. Lepage) and Sylvie (Sylvie Léonard) in their respective roles.

Is it just a special? Or the premiere of a series of complete new seasons? Hard to know. Neither Guy A. Lepage nor the producer Guillaume Lespérance (Guys, Discussions with my parents), nor the agency that represents Sylvie Léonard responded to my interview requests this weekend. Obviously, something big is going on.

A boy a girl remains the most exported Quebec series in the world – and by far. At last count, about thirty versions ofA boy a girl played in Europe, Asia and Africa. In France, the series served as a springboard for the career of Jean Dujardin (OSS 117, The Artist) who starred in 438 six-minute episodes ofA boy a girl with his colleague Alexandra Lamy.

Officially launched in May 1997, the popular situation comedy created by Guy A. Lepage ended in March 2003, after 130 half hours. Guy and Sylvie were then going to Vietnam to adopt a baby.
