A social worker was with two runaway girls, Place du Commando, in Saint-Nazaire, this Friday evening. One of them decided to escape by jumping into the sea. The adult called the emergency services to intervene as quickly as possible, so this 14-year-old girl was dangerously moving away from the edge.

Two off-duty firefighters, jumped into the water to come to her aid and catch her. When they arrived, the police also alerted the maritime firefighters, but the action of the two rescuers brought the young girl back to shore. She was then taken care of to be taken to the Saint-Nazaire hospital.
