(Perthshire) An attempt to break the world record for the number of bungee jumps in 24 hours is underway. François-Marie Dibon is on course to break the current record of 430 jumps in one day set by New Zealander Mike Heard at Auckland Harbor Bridge in 2017.

The 44-year-old actuary, born in Paris, went on Tuesday morning to the Garry Bridge in Perthshire in the UK to take on the daunting challenge. Plunging 40 meters to the scenic Garry River below, the next 24 hours will consist of a few breaks, a few naps, but mostly hundreds of jumps from the platform Highland Fling Bungee for the French.
