(Messines) A woman in her sixties lost her life in a road accident in Messines, Outaouais, on Monday afternoon.
A driver, who was carrying two passengers, lost control of his vehicle on Route 105, south of the intersection with Chemin Cécire, around 3:30 p.m., according to information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
He then found himself in the ditch.
The driver and front passenger were seriously injured and taken to hospital. Their lives would not be in danger, according to the SQ.
The woman was seated in the back and her death was confirmed in the hospital, said SQ spokeswoman Béatrice Dorsainville.
In the evening, traffic alternated on Route 105, while a collision reconstructionist proceeded to analyze the scene.
