A woman and two men stabbed in Saint-Roch

A woman and two men were stabbed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday in the Saint-Roch district of Quebec.

The police were alerted to two assaults that occurred shortly after midnight at the intersection of boulevard Charest Est and rue de la Couronne.

The first victim, a 33-year-old woman, was attacked with a sharp object under the auditorium at the University of Quebec.

She was transported to a hospital center where there is no fear for her life, said the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ).

Almost at the same time and a stone’s throw from the site of the first assault, two men in their twenties were located with minor stab wounds.

“For the moment, it is too early to link these two assaults,” mentioned Sandra Dion of the SPVQ, specifying that in both cases, there would be two suspects, including a woman, but no arrests have been made in these files.

A security perimeter was erected, while investigators and forensic identification technicians had to move to the scene to try to determine the circumstances that led to these two attacks.
