Released on the streaming platform on July 22, the feature film has been so successful that Netflix has already announced the release of a sequel, but also the development of a parallel film (spin off) that will take place in the same universe.
Gray Man stars Ryan Gosling as a CIA agent who uncovers dark secrets covered up by the US agency. He then sees his head being put on a price by an ex-colleague (Chris Evans). Pursued by assassins from all over the world, he won’t be able to count on anyone’s help, except that of agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas.)
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by AGBO studios, Gray Man will therefore have a sequel. The two directors, like star Ryan Gosling, have already announced their interest. Stephen McFeely, one of the co-writers of the first opus, will be on screenwriting for the sequel.
As to spin offwe still don’t know anything about the plot, except that the film will be set in the tense universe of Gray Man. Note that the film is taken from a series of successful novels by Mark Greaney.
A week after its release, the film topped Netflix’s movie charts in 92 countries.
